Norshila Abdullah has more than 25 years of teaching experience at tertiary level. She was a Senior
Lecturer at the Department of Languages and Communication, Universiti Tenaga Nasional and was the
Head of Department for 3 consecutive terms. She has taught various English courses since 1987.
She first worked at the Institute Technology MARA (currently UiTM) where she acquired experiences
teaching English for Academic and Occupational Purposes to diploma and working students. She has
also taught on a part-time basis at several other institutions such Universiti Malaya, Universiti Putra
Malaysia, International Islamic University, Universiti Utara Malaysia-IKIP, Sunway University and
Metropolitan University College.In addition to her academic teaching, Norshila is a certified trainer.
She has been training for over ten years. She designs and conducts various communication
courses for both executives and non-executives.Her areas of specialty are Oral and Written
Communication Skills in English, Impactful PresentationSkills, Business Writing and Speaking,
Meetings, Report Writing and English Language Proficiency courses. Norshila is a proud recipient
of the ‘Excellent Trainer 2011 Award’.
